Meet at 6:30 pm at the Bird Creek trailhead at the end of Konikson Road in Bird. We will head out the Penguin Creek Trail on the approach to Nest and Bird peaks for about an hour and return. Be prepared for the presence of brown and black bears.

Meet at 6:30 pm at the Upper Indian Creek trailhead at the end of Ocean View Road in Indian. We will head up the Powerline Trail to adrunage below Homicide Peak, ascend the peak via bushwack and scramble, and return.
E. Marquez will lead "Quadruple Bypass" with a duration of 5 hours somewwhere in Eagle River - North.
Meet at 6:30 pm at the Mile Hi trailhead in Eagle River. We will go out the trail to the summit of Mount Magnificent, come down to the creek and go up Vista Peak, continue to Roundtop and on to Blacktail Rocks, and return to finish.
Rob DeVelice will lead "Black Mesa" with a duration of 2 hours somewwhere in Turnagain Arm.
Meet at 6:30 pm in the Beluga Point parking area on the Seward Highway. V/e will proceed upslope from Bermuda Triangle with minimal use of trails in route to and from the Black Mesa. Expect moderate bushwacking and some rock scrambling.
Jesse Gobeli will lead "Sheep Thrills-unnamed Linkup" with a duration of 3 hours somewwhere in Turnagain Arm.
Meet at 9 am (note earlier time than normal) in the Rainbow parking area on the Seward Highway. We will connect two classic ridge routes. We will carpool to Falls Creek trailhead for the start. We will ascend the Sheep Thrills route to the highest point on the ridge before descending along the Unnamed ridge.
E. Marquez will lead "Double Suicide" with a duration of 5 hours somewwhere in The Chugach Front Range.
Meet at 6:30 pm at the Falls Creek trailhead on the Seward Highway. We will head up the Falls Creek Trail, ascend South Suicide Peak, descend into Windy Gap, ascend North Suicide Peak, and return. Brown bears may be present.
Jesse Gobeli will lead "West Tanaina" with a duration of 6 or more hours somewwhere in The Chugach Front Range.
Meet at 6:30 pm at the Prospect Heights trailhead on the Anchorage Hillside. We will take the main trail towards Wolverine Peak, before turning off to tour the No Man’s Land and the saddle between Wolverine and Near Point. This is the optional turnaround point – those continuing on will descend to the Long Lake valley, before climbing the ridge to West Tanaina Peak. Return will involve a variation of the outward bound trail.
Rob DeVelice will lead "Botany Challenge 49" with a duration of 2 hours somewwhere in Turnagain Arm.
Meet at 6:30 pm at the Falls Creek trailhead on the Seward Highway. This will be a hike (not a run). Me will seek and identiff 49 species of plant and note the phenological state of each (germinating, vegetative, flowering, fi:uiting, senescent). The Falls Creek area is
immensely beautiful and includes verdant forests, species rich
shrublands, and a lively stream.
E. Marquez will lead "Different Rainbow" with a duration of 2.5 hours somewwhere in Turnagain Arm.
Meet at 6:30 pm at the Rainbow trailhead on the Seward Highway. We will head up the standard route, traverse across the flank of Rainbow, and return by a route to be determined. Some bushwhacking and route finding will be involved.
