E. Marquez will lead "Hillside Ramble" with a duration of 3 hours somewwhere in The Chugach Front Range.
Meet at 6:30 p.m. at the Hillside trailhead off of Abbott Road. We will follow trails to Near Point and return.
E. Marquez will lead "Potter Overlook" with a duration of 3.5 hours somewwhere in Turnagain Arm.
Meet at 6:30 p.m. at the Weigh Station on the Seward Highway just south of Potter Marsh. We will diverge from the Turnagain Arm trail after a mile or so and head straight up to Potter Overlook. We will return via a different route.
E. Marquez will lead "Knee Deep" with a duration of 3 hours somewwhere in The Chugach Front Range.
Meet at 6:30 at the small trailhead at the end of Basher Road. We will head up the trail to Near Point. Then we will plunge down into No Man’s Land and bushwhack over to the main Wolverine trail. Then we will take the Lost Cabin trail back to the Basher trailhead. From there we will run back to the start.
E. Marquez will lead "Dance of the Troglodytes" with a duration of 3 hours somewwhere in West Anchorage.
Meet at 6:30 pm at the Prospect Heights Trailhead on the Anchorage Hillside. We will head up to the granite erratic on the Wolverine Peak Trail. From there we will take the “No Mans Land” route towards Near Point to the ridge where we will proceed towards Wolverine Peak. We will descend on the main trail without going to the Wolverine Peak summit.
E. Marquez will lead "Nothing Dramatic" with a duration of 2.5 hours somewwhere in The Chugach Front Range.
Meet for a 6:30 departure from the Hillside trail head where we will sample a variety of the Hillside’s classic trails.
E. Marquez will lead "Smooth on the Edges" with a duration of 3 hours somewwhere in The Chugach Front Range.
We will meet at 6:30 at the Prospect Heights trailhead. We will take the main trail towards Wolverine, but then divert onto game trails for a run up towards Rusty Point. We will circle back to the Wolverine trail to complete a Figure 9 route.
E. Marquez will lead "Nintendo Hill" with a duration of 3 hours somewwhere in The Chugach Front Range.
Meet at 6:30 p.m. at the Prospect Heights. We will take the powerline trail, ascend Nintendo Hill and return.
E. Marquez will lead "Judgment Call" with a duration of 3 hours somewwhere in East Anchorage.
Meet at 6:30 p.m. at the Hillside trailhead. We will proceed along an assortment of trails to the Botanical Gardens and complete a loop route on the return.
E. Marquez will lead "Flattop and Friends" with a duration of 2.5 hours somewwhere in The Chugach Front Range.
Meet at 6:30 pm at the Rabbit Creek Trailhead on Canyon Road. We will ascend the backside of Flattop and then continue to Peaks 2 and 3 and then descend.
E. Marquez will lead "Blacktail Rocks" with a duration of 3.5 hours somewwhere in Eagle River - North.
Meet at Mile Hi trailhead at 6:30 p.m. We will ascend Mt. Magnificent, descend to the valley, ascend Blacktail Rocks and descend back to the trailhead.
E. Marquez will lead "Wedge Wromp" with a duration of 3.5 hours somewwhere in The Chugach Front Range.
Meet at 6:30 pm in the Glen Alps parking area. We will proceed on the Powerline Trail to the Hidden Lake Trail. We will soon diverge from the Hidden Lake Trail and head up along the ridge leading to the summit of the Wedge. From there decisions will be made regarding the most desirable descent route.
E. Marquez will lead "Symphony of Destruction" with a duration of 3.5 hours somewwhere in Eagle River - South.
Meet at 6:30 p.m. at the South Fork Eagle River trailhead. We will take the ridge to the south Symphony lakes, then return by the main trail.
