10/11/2012 – Off Point

Rob DeVelice will lead "Off Point" with a duration of 2.5 hours somewwhere in East Anchorage.

Meet at 6:30 pm at the Basher trailhead (on the right 3 miles up Campbell Airstrip Road from Tudor Road). We will begin on the Basher Road, proceed up the ridge on trails and minimal bushwack towards Near Point, and finish on trails looping back to Basher trailhead.

09/06/2012 – A Little Rusty

Rob DeVelice will lead "A Little Rusty" with a duration of 2.5 hours somewwhere in The Chugach Front Range.

Meet at 6:30 pm in the Prospect Heights parking area on the
Anchorage Hillside. V/e will proceed on our “standard route” towards
Rusty Point until where we usually leave the ascent trail. V/e will
continue further towards the Middle Fork and then navigate obscure
game trails, shrub thickets (some defoliated by insects), and rock
scrambles. From the summit of Rusty we will zip down and across to
the Wolverine trail and loop back to Prospect Heights.

05/17/2012 – Sheep Thrills

Rob DeVelice will lead "Sheep Thrills" with a duration of 2.5 hours somewwhere in Turnagain Arm.

Meet at 6:30 pm at the Falls Creek Trailhead on the Seward Highway. We will proceed
via bushwack and scramble to Sheep Thrills Ridge. Depending on snow abundance
weather, and participant desires this will either be an out and back or a loop.

04/26/2012 – Free Bird

Rob DeVelice will lead "Free Bird" with a duration of 2.5 hours somewwhere in Turnagain Arm.

Meet at 6:30 pm at the “original” (small) Bird Ridge trailhead. We
will proceed straight up from the trailhead via bushwack and scramble. Once we reach the ridge we will hop the trail and dive downslope towards Bird Creek. We will finish on obscure paths and a little bit of the official Bird Ridge Trail.

03/29/2012 – Rainbow Warriors

Rob DeVelice will lead "Rainbow Warriors" with a duration of 2.5 hours somewwhere in Turnagain Arm.

Meet at 6:30 pm in the pullout on the right (sea side) of the Seward Highway nearest to milepost 109. That’s the pullout immediately across the road from the spring fed water pipe and near the “Sky Pilot” rock climbing area. V/e will bushwack, scramble, and snow climb steeply up and down the slopes and ridges of Rainbow Peak.
Bring an ice ax and traction devices (such as micro spikes).

06/14/2007 – Flattop Figure 8

Anne Ver Hoef will lead "Flattop Figure 8" with a duration of 2.5 hours somewwhere in The Chugach Front Range.

Anne Ver Hoef; Flattop Figure 8; class 2; 2.5 hours; meet at 6:15 pm (for carpooling) at the curve where Upper DeArmoun goes to the right onto Canyon Road OR at Rabbit Lake trailhead at 6:30 pm; we will take the trail up the south side of Flattop, across the ridges over Peak Two, down the north side to the Powerline Trail, go along the Powerline for a little ways, and back up to the ridge and low spot between Flatop and Peak Two, and will finally descend the trail back to Rabbit Lake Trailhead; route includes some off trail sections through low brush and rocks.

Evan Hone will lead "No Title" with a duration of 2.5 hours somewwhere in The Valley Area.

Evan Hone (cell p. 841-2739); Matanuska River Railroad Trail; class 1+; 2.5 hours; 6:30 pm rendezvous in parking lot of Carrs store in Palmer (we will then drive to the trailhead); trail in excellent condition but dirty diversions might be included here and there if the group desires.
