Rob DeVelice will lead "Rainbow Warriors" with a duration of 2.5 hours somewwhere in Turnagain Arm.

Meet at 6:30 pm in the pullout on the right (sea side) of the Seward Highway nearest to milepost 109. That’s the pullout immediately across the road from the spring fed water pipe and near the “Sky Pilot” rock climbing area. V/e will bushwack, scramble, and snow climb steeply up and down the slopes and ridges of Rainbow Peak.
Bring an ice ax and traction devices (such as micro spikes).

06/14/2007 – Flattop Figure 8

Anne Ver Hoef will lead "Flattop Figure 8" with a duration of 2.5 hours somewwhere in The Chugach Front Range.

Anne Ver Hoef; Flattop Figure 8; class 2; 2.5 hours; meet at 6:15 pm (for carpooling) at the curve where Upper DeArmoun goes to the right onto Canyon Road OR at Rabbit Lake trailhead at 6:30 pm; we will take the trail up the south side of Flattop, across the ridges over Peak Two, down the north side to the Powerline Trail, go along the Powerline for a little ways, and back up to the ridge and low spot between Flatop and Peak Two, and will finally descend the trail back to Rabbit Lake Trailhead; route includes some off trail sections through low brush and rocks.

06/07/2007 – No Title

Evan Hone will lead "No Title" with a duration of 2.5 hours somewwhere in The Valley Area.

Evan Hone (cell p. 841-2739); Matanuska River Railroad Trail; class 1+; 2.5 hours; 6:30 pm rendezvous in parking lot of Carrs store in Palmer (we will then drive to the trailhead); trail in excellent condition but dirty diversions might be included here and there if the group desires.

04/05/2007 – Diet of Kryptonite

Rob DeVelice will lead "Diet of Kryptonite" with a duration of 2.5 hours somewwhere in Turnagain Arm.

Rendezvous at 6:30 pm at the Windy Corner Trailhead on the Seward Highway (between Anchorage and Bird).

We will start on the Turnagain Arm Trail but will rapidly diverge off trail towards Sheep Thrills Ridge. This out and back route includes sections of technical scrambling, encounters with snow and ice, and bushwacking through roses.

Sticky rubber running shoes, gaiters, and traction devices are desirable.

02/10/2005 – Arctic Valley Road Up and Down

Rob DeVelice will lead "Arctic Valley Road Up and Down" with a duration of 2.5 hours somewwhere in JBER.

Meet at 6:30 pm at the parking area on the right about one mile out on the Arctic Valley Road from its intersection with the Glenn Highway. This parking area is across Arctic Valley Road from the golf course club house.

We will run up the road to the Arctic Valley Ski Area and back.
