12/27/2018 – Falls Creek

Jesse Gobeli will lead "Falls Creek" with a duration of 3 hours somewwhere in Turnagain Arm.

Meet at 6:30 p.m at the Falls Creek trailhead.  We will proceed along the main trail, post-hole through the valley, and ascend to the head of the Rainbow Creek drainage.

11/22/2018 – Early Bird

Rob DeVelice will lead "Early Bird" with a duration of 2 hours somewwhere in Turnagain Arm.

Meet at 9:00 am (note early time) in the large Bird Creek/Ridge parking lot for this Thanksgiving Daytime outing. The specific route to be taken will depend on the desires of those present.

11/15/2018 – You Are Not Forgotten

Lee Helzer will lead "You Are Not Forgotten" with a duration of 3 hours somewwhere in Peters Creek.

Meet at 6:15pm in the parking area at the start of Eklutna Lake road. Due to limited space we will carpool to a 4 car gravel pullout at about mile 4.5 on Eklutna Lake Road by electric pole 74. We will then hike up the road to electric pole 85 where we will depart the road and head up to Gold Star Peak then head over to Mount POW/MIA, pay homage, and return. Micro-spikes recommended. Please allow extra time for traffic delays.

11/08/2018 – Dark Matter

Rob DeVelice will lead "Dark Matter" with a duration of 1.5 hours somewwhere in West Anchorage.

Meet at 6:30 pm in the wastewater treatment facility parking area (next right after passing Point Woronzof turn-off). We will conduct a sauntering exploration of rolling paths in the woods. Minimal time will be spent on the Coastal Trail.

10/18/2018 – A Different Wolverine

Jesse Gobeli will lead "A Different Wolverine" with a duration of 3.5 hours somewwhere in Peters Creek.

Meet at Glen Alps trailhead at 6:30 p.m.  We will cross the middle fork of the Campbell creek, ascend to Rusty Point, then follow the ridgeline to Wolverine before descending back to the valley and return.

10/11/2018 – Rarajipari

Rob DeVelice will lead "Rarajipari" with a duration of 1.5 hours somewwhere in West Anchorage.

Meet at 6:30 pm in the Raspberry parking area in Kincaid Park. We will play a version of the Tarahumara running game, Rarajipari. As a team we will kick a baseball ahead on a mix of ski trails. It’s sure to be a fun time!
