E. Marquez will lead "Rabid Rabbit" with a duration of 4.5 hours somewwhere in The Chugach Front Range.

Meet at 6:30 pm at the Rabbit Creek Trailhead on Canyon Road. We will proceed up the main trail to the north shore of Rabbit Lake. From there we will ascend to the ridge and down to Powerline Pass. We will follow the Powerline Trail to a point about even with Peak Two. We will hop over the ridge back to the start/finish.

03/28/2019 – Rabbit Run

Jesse Gobeli will lead "Rabbit Run" with a duration of 3.5 hours somewwhere in The Chugach Front Range.

Meet at the Rabbit lakes trailhead at 6:30.   We will take the direct route to Flattop, then proceed to Flaketop and then back to the trailhead on the main trail.

 

 

02/21/2019 – No Man’s Wolverine

E. Marquez will lead "No Man's Wolverine" with a duration of 3 hours somewwhere in The Chugach Front Range.

Meet at the Prospect Heights trailhead at 6:30 p.m. We will take the main trail to Wolverine, then head down into the No Man’s Land before ascending the left flank of Wolverine to return.

a.k.a. Rough on the Edges

Meet at the Prospect Heights trail head for a 6:30 departure to Rusty Point.  We’ll ascend the standard route and descend the south face returning by way of the Middle Fork Trail.  No shoe shoes if you want a leg workout.  Expect a fair amount of post-holing.

E. Marquez will lead "Flaketop" with a duration of 3 hours somewwhere in The Chugach Front Range.

Meet at the Rabbit Lake trailhead at 6:30 p.m. – take Upper DeArmoun to Canyon Road and then Canyon Road to the end.  We will ascend to Flaketop via the ridge and return.

09/27/2018 – O’Malley’s White Shoulder

Lee Helzer will lead "O’Malley’s White Shoulder" with a duration of 3 hours somewwhere in The Chugach Front Range.

Meet at 6:30 in the Glen Alps parking lot.  We will depart the fall colors as we know them and embark on a winter journey up Nintendo Hill to the Ball Field.  From the head of the Ball Field we’ll venture over O’Malley’s white shoulder and return via the Powerline trail.
