Meet at the Rainbow trailhead for a 6:30 departure. We’ll take the main trail west then depart the comfort of the main trail for a bushwhack up a small wooded ravine. We should meet the main Rainbow trail for the descent.

Meet at 6:30 p.m. at the weigh station off of the Seward Highway just south of Potter Marsh. For this solstice epic we will think about summer as we complete an out and back on the Turnagain arm trail.
E. Marquez will lead "Potter Overlook" with a duration of 3 hours somewwhere in Turnagain Arm.
Meet at the Seward Highway weigh station just south of Potter Marsh at 6:30. We will run to mile 2 of the Turnagain Arm trail where we will bushwhack to the top of the ridge. At the turnaround point we will head straight down to the trail and return.
E. Marquez will lead "Falls Creek Exploration" with a duration of 3.5 hours somewwhere in Turnagain Arm.
Meet at 6:30 pm at Falls Creek Trailhead on the Seward Highway. We will proceed up the main trail to the ridgeline at the head of the valley. From there we head east (towards South Suicide) to a highpoint and return.
Jesse Gobeli will lead "Homicide Lake" with a duration of 3.5 hours somewwhere in Turnagain Arm.
Meet at 6:30 p.m. at the Indian trailhead at the end of Boretide Road. We will take the powerline trail for a mile or two, then ascend through hemlock forests to gain the North Suicide Ridge before descending to Homicide Llake and returning on a figure 9 route.
E. Marquez will lead "Indianhouse Ridge" with a duration of 3.5 hours somewwhere in Turnagain Arm.
Meet at the Falls Creek trailhead at 6:30 p.m. We will follow the main trail to the bowl, then climb to the pass below Indianhouse Mountain. We will take the ridge on the Indian side back down the to old Johnson trail and return to the trailhead.

Meet at 6:30 p.m. at the Konikson Road trailhead in Bird Valley. We will head up the main trail past the bridge over Penguin Creek, then we will detour into the forest, cross Penguin Creek and the old stump road, and ascend through hemlock forests towards Penguin Peak.

Meet at 6:30 p.m. at the Indian Trailhead at the end of Boretide road. We will follow the powerline trail, ascend Homicide Peak and return.
Rob DeVelice will lead "Rovers" with a duration of 2 hours somewwhere in Turnagain Arm.
Meet at 6:30 pm at the Rainbow trailhead on the Seward Highway. The route will be dependent on the desires of the participants.
Lee Helzer will lead "Sheep Thrills Plus" with a duration of 4 hours somewwhere in Turnagain Arm.
Meet at 6:30 pm at the Falls Creek trailhead on the Seward Highway. We will proceed up the Sheep Thrills Ridge via bushwhacking and scrambling to the highpoint known as Peak 3980. We will find a logical point of descent to the Falls Creek Trail and the return via the trailhead. Depending on presence and abundance of snow, traction devices may be desirable.
Jesse Gobeli will lead "Bird on a Wire" with a duration of 3 hours somewwhere in Turnagain Arm.
Meet at 6:30 p.m. at the Bird Creek Trailhead at the end of Konikson Road. We will cross Penguin Creek on our way to exploring the old mining roads and sights of the Bird Creek area. We will visit the 1965 mustang fastback and the waterfalls of Bird Creek. We will follow the creek upstream for a mile or two before bushwhacking back to the main trail and return.
