02/20/2020 – Dance of the Troglodytes

E. Marquez will lead "Dance of the Troglodytes" with a duration of 3 hours somewwhere in West Anchorage.

Meet at 6:30 pm at the Prospect Heights Trailhead on the Anchorage Hillside. We will head  up to the granite erratic on the Wolverine Peak Trail. From there we will take the “No Mans Land” route towards Near Point to the ridge where we will proceed towards Wolverine Peak. We will descend on the main trail without going to the Wolverine Peak summit.

01/30/2020 – Beach Party

Jesse Gobeli will lead "Beach Party" with a duration of 3 hours somewwhere in West Anchorage.

Meet at 6:30 p.m. at Point Woronzof at the small parking area adjacent to the wastewater treatment plant.  This distance run will involve an amalgam of single and multi track trails, eventually reaching the bluffs at Kincaid. Our beach return route will have us dodging ice formations and battling icy headwinds all the way home.

12/12/2019 – 19th Anniversary Epic

Lee Helzer will lead "19th Anniversary Epic" with a duration of 1 hour somewwhere in West Anchorage.

Meet at 6:30 pm in the Earthquake Park parking lot. We’ll explore the permanent remnants of the 1964 earthquake and finish with a bit of beach and trail running.  It might be muddy thanks to the recent rains.

After the Epic we’ll head to The Rustic Goat (2800 W Northern Lights Blvd) to celebrate the 19th Epic Anniversary (est. 12/7/2000).

05/09/2019 – New Rarajipari Route

Rob DeVelice will lead "New Rarajipari Route" with a duration of 1.5 hours somewwhere in West Anchorage.

Meet at 6:30 pm at the north edge of the stadium parking lot in Kincaid Park. We will be playing a non-competitive variation of the running game played by the Raramuri of the Copper Canyon region of Mexico. We will kick a baseball along varied terrain (with lots of laughs and joy along the way).

02/07/2019 – Far North Hillside Ramble

Lee Helzer will lead "Far North Hillside Ramble" with a duration of 3.5 hours somewwhere in West Anchorage.

Meet for a 6:30 departure at the small Klutina Dr trailhead of the Far North Bicentennial Park.  We’ll work up trails in the vicinity of the Powerline Trail and return via trails in the vicinity of the Gasline trail.  It should be a good workout.
