05/09/2013 - Flight of the Raven

Ghastly grim and ancient ruven wandering from the nightly shore - Tell me what thy lordly name is on the Níght's Plutonian shore!' Quoth the raven,' Nevermore.' - Edgar Allan Poe (excerpt from "The Raven")

Rob DeVelice will lead "Flight of the Raven" with an estimated duration of 2 hours.

Meet at 6:30 pm in the Bird Ridge parking area on the Seward
Highway or, if you want to car pool, at the weigh station just after
Potter Marsh at 6:15 pm. We will immediately head up slope through
the forest, brush, grass, rocks, and snow to a high point from which
we jump over the Bird Ridge Trail and dive down towards Bird
Creek. This will be an energetic loop involving minimal use of
maintained trails.
